Art Fusion III Exhibition
Exhibit Runs September 12 – 26, 2026
Opening Reception: September 12, 2026, from 5 - 7 PM
Corbin Studio & Gallery
4 E Main St, Crisfield, MD
The Crisfield Arts & Entertainment District is proud to present Art Fusion III, an exhibition that brings written and visual art together in creative conversation. This unique show pairs writers with visual artists: writers submit original work—such as poetry, prose, short stories, music, song lyrics, or excerpts—and participating visual artists select one written piece to inspire a new work of art. The paired written and visual works will be displayed together, with an opening reception on Saturday, September 12, from 5–7 PM.
Participants may submit written work and create visual artwork; however, visual artists may not select their own written submission as inspiration.
Please review the steps and deadlines below carefully. The timeline is short, so early submission is encouraged.
For Writers: Submit Original Written Work by August 3, 2026
-
Writers of any age may submit. Applicants under 18 must include a parent or guardian signature.
-
Both professional and amateur writers are welcome.
-
Each writer may submit up to three original written pieces.
-
Written work may include poetry, prose, short stories, music, song lyrics, or excerpts from longer works.
-
Please keep submissions under 300 words, use at least 12-point font, and fit each piece on one 8½ x 11-inch page.
-
Written work that is not selected by a visual artist will still be displayed but will not be part of the opening reception pairing.
-
Online applicants should upload a file containing their written work.
-
