Corbin Gallery Spring Blow-Out Sale

Are you ready for the Corbin Gallery Spring Blow-Out Sale at Corbin Studio & Gallery, located at 4 E Main Street in Crisfield! This special event runs April 29th through May 2nd and again from May 6th to May 9th, with doors open from 11 AM to 3 PM. All items in the Main Gallery have been generously donated by local artists and vendors to the Crisfield Arts & Entertainment District. Every item is on display for the first two weeks of May, and nothing is priced over $100! Proceeds from the sale support the installation of the Connecting Crisfield Community Through Art Mural. Come shop, support local art, and help beautify our town! The Corbin Gallery Spring Blow-Out Sale is your chance to find unique treasures and make a difference in Crisfield!

The Tawes Museum, located at 3 9th St in Crisfield, MD, focuses on the history of the Lower Shore region, including the local people, towns, and industry. The museum is ready for the 2026 season and is excited to unveil its new exhibits. Opening day is May 9th, from 10 am – 2 pm. While there, be sure to visit the gift shop with new merchandise and discounts.

2026 Hangin Out Art Show

The Hangin’ Out Art Show warmly invites all artists, musicians, writers, and creative hobbyists to present their work at this inclusive gallery event. There are no entry fees, and everyone is welcome to attend. This show is not juried and is not censored, unlike our month-long exhibits, so you may express yourself freely. Artists can submit a single original piece and have the option to sell it with a 15% commission. Participants may choose to display their names or remain anonymous. The show embraces a range of art forms, including sketches, sculptures, digital art, and performances. Inspired by a 19th-century Paris exhibition, this event continues the tradition of inclusive art shows. Be a part of this very special annual event. Crisfield Police Department Bike Rodeo

The Crisfield Bike Rodeo is a free event hosted by the Crisfield Police Department and recommended for ages 5-12. The bike rodeo is on Saturday, May 16th, 10 am to 3 pm at Somers Cove Marina. The event features bicycle safety, skills course, and a bicycle raffle. You will learn the rules of the road and proper bicycle care. This is a perfect opportunity to register your bicycle.

1st Annual Community Yard Sale

Get ready for the 1st Annual Community Yard Sale on May 16th in Crisfield and Marion Station (at individual homes). The goal is to have yard sales happening throughout the community so people can spend the day going from one to another. If you’d like to participate, simply host a yard/garage sale at your home on Saturday, May 16th, and comment your location on the 1st Annual Community Yard Sale Facebook. Even if you’re not hosting, it’ll be a great weekend to get out, shop around, and see what everyone has. No sign-up required—just join in!

Godspell, a Musical based on the Gospel of Matthew

Lower Shore Performing Arts Company brings to Crisfield at Gallery 413, Godspell, a musical based on the Gospel of Matthew, presenting Jesus’ teachings through parables, songs, and playful theatricality (skits) culminating in the Last Supper, Crucifixion, and Resurrection. Performances are on May 22nd at 7 PM and on May 23rd for a 2 PM matinee. Enjoy songs you will recognize from the years or hear new songs about love, man’s fragility towards others, and knowing God. Fun show, family friendly!

Attention Crisfield! Do you know a great place for local farmers, watermen, makers, and small businesses to showcase their goods? - It is right here in Crisfield. The NEW CRISFIELD FARMERS MARKET is located at 253 N Somerset Ave in Crisfield, MD! Shop local vendors! Food, Artisans, and so much more! Crisfield Farmers Market is on every Saturday, starting May 23rd and running till September 5th! From 10:30 am - 2:30 pm. The first market of 2026 on May 23rd is to relaunch a Farmers Market in Crisfield, and that only happens with strong community support—both from vendors and from people willing to help spread the word. Symphony of Senses II: Where Art and Music Converge

Visual Artists choose a piece of music and create artwork from the music. Artists will have the opportunity to explain their music selection and artwork at the reception unveiling. "Symphony of Senses" art exhibit is a unique and immersive experience where art and music converge to create a sensory symphony. This exhibit will run from May 29th to June 20th, with a special reception on Friday, May 29th, from 6-8 PM. Join us for an evening of creativity, where artists and attendees explore the profound connection between music and visual art. The "Symphony of Senses" art exhibit offers a unique fusion of art and music, inviting artists to explore the profound connection between these two creative realms. This exhibit encourages participants to delve into the emotive power of music and translate those feelings into visual art. In this exhibit, artists are invited to select any category of music that resonates with them. Each artist can contribute up to two entries, providing a rich tapestry of interpretations and expressions. The challenge is to listen deeply to a chosen piece of music and allow it to inspire a visual artwork. The core of this exhibit lies in the transformative power of music. Artists are encouraged to delve into their emotions and thoughts as they listen to their chosen piece. Drop-off Dates: Drop off your art by May 27th. 2026 Soft Shell Crab Festival

The Soft-Shell Crab Festival is a free community event celebrating the local seafood industry right here in Crisfield, MD. Organized by Rising Tide, this free event features Watermen’s Hall of Fame, Crabcakes, Soft Shell Crabs, Local Seafood, Beer/Wine, Artisan Vendors, and Live Music. The festival is on Sunday, May 24th, 12 – 5 PM at the Crisfield City Dock. After the soft shell crab festival, there is an After Party at the High Tide Club, located at 5 Goodsell Alley. The ticket price for the after party is $30 and includes cover charge, DJ, beer/wine. Check with the High Tide Club as there is a limited number of tickets available.

Registration for the 4th Annual Paddlefest at Janes Island is now open! https://docs.google.com/.../1FAIpQLSchP7tvb9bie.../viewformThis family-friendly event is great for everyone! There will be guided paddle tours, live music, children's activities, a campfire and live music. Plus, for those experienced paddlers, the island circumnavigation or "Janes Island Challenge" is back for 2026. The event is FREE; however, registration is required to allow us to properly plan for the event and it gives us an idea of participation as well as communicate Paddlefest information as it becomes available. You are encouraged to bring your own boat. The park has a limited number of rental boats available on a first-come, first-served basis. Anyone who wishes to camp at Janes Island State Park, reservations can be made online at parkreservations.maryland.gov or by calling 1-888-432-2267.
