MURDER MYSTERY DINNER PARTY - 1950's STYLE!

NEW DATE: FEBRUARY 7, 2026 5pm - 8pm

4 E. Main St. Crisfield MD

Join Us on FEBRUARY 7TH for our 1st ever Murder Mystery Night. Performed by the Lower Shore Performing Arts Company. The fun begins at the Corbin Studio at 5 pm for appetizers and drinks. The Mystery begins at the Tawes Museum at 5:45pm and a catered meal will be served at 6:30 in the Chesapeake Room.

 

Help us solve the Murder!

Tickets are $75 per person and must be purchased in advance at crisfieldheritage.org/events (seating is limited!!!). This event will raise money for the Crisfield Heritage Foundation. For questions please contact Denise Walter at denisewalter.003@gmail.com

Painting in Watercolor

Learn to paint in one of the most enjoyable painting mediums, WATERCOLOR! Bring a sketch, design, or photo you would like to paint. Or, choose one of ours.

Participants are welcome to bring their own watercolors/brushes, but it is not necessary, as they will be supplied.

 

African American History Month Art Show

Crisfield, MD — The Crisfield Arts & Entertainment District proudly announces the upcoming African American Art Exhibition, a vibrant showcase honoring African American History Month. The exhibition will run from February 6th to 28th at the Corbin Studio & Gallery, located at 4 East Main Street, Crisfield, MD.

The event kicks off with an Opening Reception on February 6th, from 6 to 8 PM. Attendees will enjoy complimentary refreshments and the opportunity to engage with artists and community members in a welcoming, open-to-the-public atmosphere.

This exhibition features a diverse collection of artworks from emerging to established artists, each piece conveying hope, harmony, and peace through powerful visual stories and faces. Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in a world of experiences, discovering the power of history and purpose through inspiring stories and uplifting messages.

 

The Art of Chocolate

Soul Food Sampling

Soul Food Sampling will feature cultural dishes prepared by local African American cooks and shared with the public. Students from It Takes a Village to Help Our Children will assist and volunteer at the event.

 

African American Museum of Crisfield Soft Opening

During the Soul Food Sampling event, the Board of Directors of AAMOC will announce the upcoming opening of the new African American Museum of Crisfield and share information about the museum with attendees. The museum is dedicated to honoring, preserving, and restoring the living memory of African Americans on Maryland's Eastern Shore. AAMOC, as a nonprofit organization, is committed to preserving and promoting African American history in Crisfield and Somerset County through educational programs, exhibits, community events, and by maintaining artifacts, oral histories, and cultural traditions.
