Liberty Tree Dedication Ceremony

Where: Janes Island State Park

Description: Join Us for a Special Liberty Tree Dedication Ceremony. As part of the statewide Maryland Liberty Tree Project commemorating the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America, Janes Island State Park will dedicate a newly planted tulip poplar Liberty Tree — a direct descendant of Maryland’s original 1775 Liberty Tree. Community members are invited to attend this meaningful ceremony honoring history, heritage, and the enduring spirit of liberty.

Attention Crisfield! Do you know a great place for local farmers, watermen, makers, and small businesses to showcase their goods? - It is right here in Crisfield. The NEW CRISFIELD FARMERS MARKET is located at 253 N Somerset Ave in Crisfield MD! Shop local vendors!  Food, Artisans and so much more! Crisfield Famers Market is on every Saturday, Starting May 23rd and running till September 5th! From 10:30am - 2:30pm. The first market of 2026 on May 23rd  is to relaunch a Farmers Market in Crisfield, and that only happens with strong community support—both from vendors and from people willing to help spread the word. Vendor spots are $10 per Saturday, or 50% off if you commit to the full season.

Description: Crisfield, get ready to celebrate July in style! Join us for Crisfield’s America 250 celebration at the city dock on July 5th, beginning at 5 PM. Enjoy an evening of music, games, pie-eating and watermelon seed-spitting contests, followed by fireworks at 9 PM. This community celebration is proudly sponsored by the Crisfield Chamber of Commerce and Friends of Crisfield.

 

250 Celebration: A More Perfect Union

When: June 27th – July 11th,

Reception: June 27th, 6 – 8 PM

Where: Corbin Studio & Gallery, 4 E Main St, Crisfield, MD

Cost: Free

Description: Come celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with us at A More Perfect Union, a special art show by the Crisfield Arts & Entertainment District. From June 27 through July 11, 2026, neighbors, friends, and visitors are invited to gather at the Corbin Gallery to enjoy art that reflects our shared history, creativity, and community spirit. The celebration begins with an opening reception on June 27 from 6 – 8 PM at the Corbin Gallery, 4 E. Main Street, Crisfield, Maryland. We hope you’ll join us for this meaningful occasion as we come together to honor the past, celebrate the present, and look ahead with pride and unity. Featured Artists Art Show – Professor Noah Bressman, Robbie Chin, and Montse Tlalolini

When: Show runs July 15th – August 1st

Reception: July 17th, from 6 – 8 PM

Description: We have a special featured artist show coming up for you in a few weeks! It is called “A Fish Story.” There will be 3 different types of art from 3 different artists. Dr. Noah Bressman is an Assistant Professor of Physiology (Department of Biology) at Salisbury University. He researches all things "Fishy" and uses a biochemical technique called clearing and staining, bringing out the cartilage in blue and the bone in purplish. Robby S. Chin of Eastern Shore Gyotaku uses the traditional Japanese art form of fish printing, which means he can Catch-Paint-Eat-Repeat. And lastly, Montse Tlalolini is the founder and designer at Turmalina Jewelry, and she will be showcasing "Tides & Treasures", a coastal-inspired gemstone collection celebrating the beauty of the water, nature, and the stories behind each handmade piece. We hope to see you at the reception on July 17th, from 6-8 PM.

 

Wheels on the Waterfront Cruise-In

July 25, 2026, 3-7 PM

Crisfield City Dock Area

Description: The 19th Annual Wheels on the Waterfront Cruise-In is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, 2026, in Crisfield.

The event will be held from 3 to 7 PM in the Crisfield City Dock area.

Hosted by the Wheels That Heal Car Club, the waterfront cruise-in will feature classic cars and trucks, street rods, custom motorcycles, food, and family-friendly activities.

A 50/50 charity raffle will benefit the Crisfield Lions and Lioness Clubs.

Recognized as one of the Shore’s largest cruise-ins, Wheels on the Waterfront brings together vehicle enthusiasts, families, food vendors, and visitors for an afternoon along the bay.
