Douglas E. Draper, Jr. is an award-winning artist skilled in illustration, murals, concept art, and comics. His FORGED BY WATER series explores the life of Chesapeake Bay watermen, with works including a mural in downtown Salisbury, MD. He has created art for clients like the Santa Fe Institute, Top Shelf Publishing, IDW Publishing, and Amazon shows such as Making the Cut and Upload, plus the film Red One. Draper’s art has been exhibited across the east coast and features permanent murals at the Social Security Administration building near Baltimore, MD, and the Wicomico County Public Library. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute, College of Art, where he received the Presidential Scholarship.
