Pie and Pi(e)-Ku, a sweet little poetry workshop
Sat, Oct 12 - 10 am to 12:30 pm
Corbin Studio & Gallery, 4 E Main St, Crisfield

The Crisfield Arts & Entertainment District Project presents this poetry workshop led by Delaware Beat Poet Laureate Babs McGrory. Among many other creative endeavors, Babs publishes the Pi(e)-ku Poetry magazine, a grassroots mission to fight hunger in a fun & creative way.

Pi-ku is a type of poetry similar to Haiku but based on the
first 3 digits of pi (3.14) with the associated number of syllables
per line.

Attendees pay $10 and will be provided with an issue of Pi(e)-ku Poetry magazine with their own poetry in it (which will be mailed to them within 3 weeks), plus a bookmark & button, the haiku guide & workbook, materials for Found Pi(e)-ku - which they can take with them, materials for Piehai (photo-Pi(e)-ku - which they can also take with them), pie & coffee.

A limited number of scholarships are available, no questions asked, simply select the scholarship option.
